First, to everyone that has sent emails, posted on FB and my SPOT link, thank you very much. I've received lots of compliments and encouragement and I really appreciate it. I apologize if I don't always respond , well hardly ever, I'm not very good at FB. So, to anyone that has had a birthday, birth, marriage, anniversary, had a great ride, got a new motorcycle, won the lottery or any other good things, congratulations. This also apples to any and all fellow travelers I have met along the way.

There are a lot of this type cow along with holsteins. This breed seems to be particularly friendly. One of them came up and wanted to lick my face and seemed sad when I walked away.

5k up the trail there is a cabin where the residents feed humming birds, it's the main attraction along the trail and most people turn around here. They charge $2.50 to enter and you get something to drink.

Quite difficult to get a good photo of these little guys:

The other birds kept chasing this guy away. I finally got a shot of him with his tongue out.

There were a few tourists there and I had hiked up with a couple girls I met on the trail. Everyone was trying to get a close up photo and I mentioned how nice it would be to have a BB gun, then we could really get some close photos. That comment didn't go over so well.

I decided to keep going up the mountain after the bird place and climbed to 3,100 meters. I believe the trail started at 2,200 meters. The trail was rocky, muddy and little view. In hind sight, why. It was still fun and I did see some sort of game bird that looked like a very large black pheasant.
