Indonesia to Timor-Leste
Country
July 12, 2017:
Due to technical difficulties or operator error, I'm back to having major Blog issues. I'm able to type in text however, loading any photos or other information and organizing it, isn't happening. I'm going to keep working at it, however the prognosis isn't good.
It took seven weeks to get things sorted out with the motorcycle in Jakarta. I was very happy to get out of that place. By the time I was going again I didn't have much time for site seeing, VISA was going to expire and I had already extended it once. I made a quick run through Java and then spent a few days in Bali and then pretty much straight to Kupang, lots of time on ferries
I'm now in Timor-Leste and the motorcycle is on it's way to Australia. If all goes to schedule the motorcycle will arrive on the 22nd. I've been bogged down some in SE Asia and I'm really looking forward to some big country and long riding days!
There's a biker bar close to where I'm stying in Dili, called, Spooners, it's owned by an English expat. There's a nice photo hanging in the restroom. I can attach one photo, that's it, so this will be the one.
