At the present time I'm in the border village of Poipet waiting on a vehicle permit to enter Thailand. I'd applied for the permit in November 2016 and was informed it would be completed and approved by January 16, 2017. The powers to be are working on it and it should be approved within the next couple days.

 I'm having some issues with the rear drive assembly, I believe the bearing is shot and I'm leaking oil, lots of oil. I just need it to last for another 160 miles, Bangkok, for repairs. Not being able to ride and cross borders at will is getting a bit boring.
