Got an early start on the days ride into Argentina. The border crossing went smooth and I was on my way to Helvecia, a small village on the Parana River north of Sante Fe. I've been there twice before on hunting trips and have a couple friends there.

These are by far the strongest fighting fresh water fish I've ever caught. They are very aggressive in taking the bait and once hooked, leap high out of the water.

October 30, 2014:
Stayed a bit longer than planned in Helvecia. It was a good time seeing friends however, I ate to much and drank numerous bottles of wine and beer. I'm sure I gained a few kilos.
My direction was southwest toward Mendoza and this part of Argentina is flat, agriculture and cattle, not much for scenery.
