After a short ride to Korycin, Poland on the 10th I rode to Kuivizi, Latvia, a very long, wet, cold and windy days ride. Heated jacket type cold.

More weather coming in but I wanted to reach Estonia, the plan was to go all the way north to Tallinn however, once I crossed the border I stopped at a petrol station and gathered my motives. Weather was coming in, it was windy as all get out and I was going to head back south anyway, ok if they have an Estonia sticker I go south, if not, north. They had a sticker, when you're cold, it counts. It wasn't long before the wind picked up more and the rain started. I decided to make it back to Poland no matter what. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland. The nice thing is, there's lots of motorcyclist here and it does feel better when you see other riders enduring the same elements. I'm not alone.
I was close to the Poland border, weather had changed, it was nice, no rain. Well in the survival ride mode I wasn't paying attention to the fuel consumption, strong winds were sucking the fuel from the tank, and I ran out of petrol. The fuel gage doesn't alway read correctly when the tank is low,I had no warning light, I figured I had another 70 miles. It just so happened I was at a a drive way to a dairy farm. Great! I walked there and the first person I meet is the farmers daughter, I know, I was thinking the same thing! Well, things didn't work out like the stories, sorry. I explained my situation and then the Mom came out and quickly produced some petrol. I told them I'd be back with with a full jug and thanked them. Once I put the petrol in and started the moto, the low fuel light came on, nice. There was a petrol station 3.1 miles down the road, I filled the jug and returned to the farm. The daughter and Mom greeted me and wished me the best in my journey. They were truly happy they could help. A small thing but it makes for a good memory.

Weather was good and I had my sights on Slovakia. It was pretty much good riding through Poland however when I got close to Slovakia things took a turn, wet and cold. It'd been a long day and I found a place not long after crossing the into Slovakia. Meet some riders from Germany and had a few beers with them and called it a night.

15 miles outside of Zadar, Croatia I stopped and watched a woman bungee jump from a bridge. You can just make out her hanging and the boat waiting to retrieve her. I couldn't do it. That scares me.

The reason I came to Zadar was because of a post my niece in law, Valeska had put on FB. There's a sea organ here. I don't really know how to describe it, its a structure that plays organ music created by the sea. It's amazing.

There's also a hot chick here! She stands on a big solar panel that creates a light show at night.
