Zambia December 2015
December 12, 2015:
Stayed in Lusaka a bit longer than I had planned. After a couple days there I started developing what I thought was a head cold, turned out to be a a sinus infection. Nothing major but it had me down for a few days and then a few more until I felt somewhat normal again. I was feeling good enough to ride by the 11th and had decided to take the T2, The Great North Road, to Tanzania. Best explanation I could find for it being called the, The Great North Road, it's long, a main route and goes north.
I stopped twice along the way to the Tanzania border, one night in Mpika and another in the border town of Nkonde. The Northern part of Zambia is quite nice, green hills with small subsistence farming villages. It was a nice ride, however I wasn't yet feeling 100%.
