Untied States of America
Country
I departed Argentina on May 06, 2018 and other than a few days break at different times I rode straight to Cartagena, Colombia. Took the sailboat Stahlratte to Panama and then headed north to Presidio, TX, crossing into the USA on August 31, 2018. It was a great run even though it was over trails I’ve mostly traveled. It was still a very good ride! I stayed at, and visited many of the places I had on the way south and most of the people along the way remembered me.
Somewhere in Guatemala.
When you’re missing the concrete cover, an old television picture tube will do just fine.
Puerto Escondido, Mexico
Somewhere in Mexico
Me and my stateside support team, Eric Bray, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Eric was riding from Las Vegas to DC and we happen to be in Albuquerque on the same day. Crazy. He took me out for beer and tacos. I didn’t get much of that in Mexico.
Coffee, somewhere in Wyoming. The owner told me that on Friday nights the bar can get fairly crowded, sometimes 20 people.
Thermopolis, Wyoming:
My first real American breakfast, excellent. These are some of the places I love most about America.
I took this photo and then rode down the Lane for about 100 meters. I didn’t look for, nor did I see the end, I turned around. I’m not ready to take this road to the end just yet. Cody, Wyoming
End of the Line - The Traveling Wilburys
I’m back in the Great, Untied States of America however, my journey will not be completed until I return to my starting point. I’ve got a few days remaining on this amazing journey!
