Spain to Morocco

March 21, 2016:
Arrived in Spain however the motorcycle was still in transit from Kenya. I hadn't realized it but Easter weekend was approaching. I was informed by Swiss Cargo the moto would be delayed in Zurich until the 29th or 30th. Not sure when it actually arrived in Madrid however when I went to the airport on the 30th it was there. It took a few hours but everything was good.
Just need to put the mirrors on and I'll be gone:From Spain to Morocco

Stayed in Madrid another day, laundry, packing and prepping the moto. Got underway on April 01 for Morocco. Spent the night in Miraflores (just south of Gibraltar) and then on April 02 I took the fast ferry from Tarifa to Tangiers.
Departing Tarifa:

Pulling to Tangiers I noticed a familiar sight, a US Naval Ship. USS Grapple ARS-53, it's now a USNS however it's still flying the US Flag and has it's name painted on the stern. The only photo I could get was through a dirty window from the ferry.

The weather turned a bit for the worse, some rain and quite cold so I held up in Rabat a couple days. I then spent a few days riding down the coast to the town of Sidi Ifni. The weather was clear but the wind was blowing like crazy the whole way down.
The wind took a break so I decided to do the same:

From Sidi Ifni I rode inland to the town of Tata:

Great weather, roads and views, perfect:

From Tata I did a two day ride to Zagora with another rider, Paul from GB, no photo, sorry Paul.

Departed Zagora for Casablanca, get the moto serviced and have a few things done. In need of some front brake pads.
Going back into the mountains from Zagora. It looks like someone had taken a giant rake to the place.
