April 29, 2016:
Decided to stick around one more day. I was told about a rode that connects the R704 to the R703 from Akedim Msemir to Tamtattouchte. The road's difficult to find and without the help of a local guy I doubt I would have. He got on the moto and showed me the starting point, then rode in with me for a couple kilometers to guide me onto the right path. He told me it was 42 kilometers, 25 of it would be dry river but it should be passable, he then turned and walked off. I didn't get far, 15 minutes in before I decided it was to rough to do solo. A great place to blow out a side wall, break something or worse, get seriously hurt. Oh well, it was fun giving it an attempt.

Looks good in the photo, easy. When I got to this "safe spot" I reassessed the situation and decided to go with common sense instead of stubbornness. Difficult to tell but it looked like no one had been through in quite sometime.
