Heading into San Jose, I have a July 5 appointment at the BMW dealership for servicing. Seems strange in a good way, I have an appointment to do something. I think the novelty of that will wear off soon. I emailed the service manager, Adolfo, a couple weeks back and he's been real good about getting me in.
The ride into San Jose was pretty uneventful. Visibility was very limited, clouds and fog however, it rained little and it was 76-80 deg., nice. Took awhile to find a place that had a secure place for the moto.

It's cloudy but not raining, I'm off to Arenal. I'm hoping the valcano will be visible.

It was a great ride up to the town of Arenal even with all the clouds. The shades of green are amazing. It was about 1pm when I got to Arenal and the wether was coming in fast. I found a a great hotel with a view, Hotel Aurora, $24. I was the only guest.

It rained most of the afternoon. It cleared in the evening and I sat out on the balcony drinking beer listening to the frogs call each other from the hill tops.

The Nicoya peninsula was a great ride! I never saw them but often when I made a rain stop I could hear monkeys hollering in the forest.
I stopped in Nicoya for a couple days waiting for some weather to pass. It's a nice little town, everyone is friendly and night receptionist helped me with some Spanish.
