Cerro Punta July 19
July 19, 2013
Got up early and went for a moto ride to Cerro Punta and surrounding area. While at the border I met a lady, Bonnie, and this is one of the places she recommended I visit. It's one of the most interesting places I've visited.
The area is mainly commercial farming and it's done mostly by manual labor due to the steep terrain.
It was 62 deg. cloudy with some light rain. Not such a good day for photo's but a great day to ride!

There's a fairly large horse ranch and dairy in the area:

I was riding past some barns and noticed what looked like a milk parlor. I pulled up in and one of the workers said it was alright to walk around and take photo's.
The cows stay in the fields unless being milked and this is the area where they are grained before going in for milking. You wouldn't know a bunch of cows had just been there. It was absolutely clean of any cow shit. None. After every milking the whole area is washed and scrubbed down.
