Great time at the fiesta last night! Ran into a couple people I met in Granada.
Just hanging out today, the big fiesta finally is tonight and I want to be part of it. Not sure when I'll make it to Costa Rica. Meeting a lot of good people and having lots of fun!

Nice day for a walk-a-bout!
There is a festival for the patron saint San Juan which will start tonight and go though Sunday night. looks like it will be quite an event. Lots of people in town preparing for the festivities. Looks to be lots of vendors with food and plenty of beer. They are erecting a big stage in the center of town for live music. Should be fun!

Today I met a couple from the UK doing the bus / backpack thing, 3 months into an 18 month journey. They started in Mexico and are heading for Chile and then onto New Zealand to visit his brother. Get this, they're traveling with their three children, two girls, 8 and 6 and a 3 year old boy. Didn't get to visit much as they were heading out for Costa Rica. Kids were adorable and everyone seemed pretty happy. The guy told me every things going good, for now, LOL. Awsome!

There's a statue of jesus overlooking the town and I plan on taking a walk up there tomorrow.

Walking bridge across the San Juan Del Sur river. You must walk across the bridge, you can not ride your bicycle and everyone seems to follow this rule. Strange because no one follows any traffic laws or any other laws or rules here.

San Juan Del Sur is a great little town and will stay for a few days, I like the hotel and there are lots of interesting travelers around. I also want to make sure my ear is fine before I head out for Costa Rica. If need be I can go back to Granada and see the Doc again.
