November 24, 2014:
Woke up early with plans to ride into the Torres del Paine National Park however, an inspection of the moto revealed I had an oil leak coming from the differential. I rode to the gas station down the street and pulled the rear tire, I was hoping something was loose but that never seems to be the case.

By chance the owner of the station knew a moto mechanic familiar with BMW's and gave him a call. The mechanic showed up a few minutes later, yup definitely the seal. The mechanic knows an actual BMW mechanic in Punta Arenas, 153 miles, and suggested I get the moto there as he would be better able to get parts and fix things. It wasn't leaking so bad so we topped off the oil and I was on my way.

It took me four hours to ride the 153 miles, crazy strong wind. Found the mechanic shop in Punta Arenas easily enough however the mechanic was out of town and would be back the next day.

November 25, 2014:
Mechanic was in and everything should be fine, it will take a few days is all. He works with tour groups and has motos coming in for the next two days that have priority. All is good! The wind is blowing like crazy here.
